Josh is a Registered Psychotherapist with a master’s degree from the Adler School of Psychology. He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration (Honours) at Wilfrid Laurier University and then decided to pivot to therapy following his own transformative experience as a client. He completed his Master of Psychology (M.Psy.) at Adler Graduate Professional School and has worked in multiple private practice settings, providing therapy and various assessment services to a wide range of clients.
Josh believes that every client is unique and his approach to therapy reflects this. He aims to collaborate with clients every step of the way as they seek to reach their goals and rediscover the core essence that makes them who they are. He is trained in Adlerian therapy, but takes an eclectic approach, integrating elements of modalities such as person-centred therapies, acceptance and commitment therapy, internal family systems therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and cognitive behavioural therapy.
Josh seeks to provide a safe space for his clients to explore their struggles and discover their strengths. Therapy, much like life, is a journey. While it may not always be an easy road, with the right tools and commitment to growth we all have the power to make the trip meaningful. Josh only hopes to share in each client’s journey to their goals as a guide and a fellow traveller.
Josh once met a bear on a hike, and lived to tell the tale.
