Kate and Hudson

Kate Paterson Student therapist

Life is sometimes hard, but Kate believes that we all have hidden strengths and resilience. Sometimes we just need help finding them. After facing ongoing anxiety as a child and becoming a competitive swimmer in adolescence, Kate learned the value of good therapeutic support. That experience inspired Kate to train to become a therapist, so she can support others through anxiety, low confidence, grief and loss, stress and friendship turmoil.
Kate approaches therapy with warmth and non-judgement. She will work with you with ease, humour and real connection, relying on humanistic and Adlerian approaches. While specializing in adolescents and young adults, Kate welcomes all clients struggling with life’s biggest challenges, like grief, loss, anxiety, depression and performance demands (young athletes). Kate is ready to listen and take action to achieve your goals and create the change you seek.
She is available for in person and online sessions.
